Context

Realtor.com's lead-allocation logic decides which consumer leads go to which General Managers, and those GMs are measured on directly competing financial incentives. Any change to the allocation rules creates winners and losers, which means agreement doesn't come from argument alone โ€” it has to come from evidence everyone trusts.

What I Did

  • Architected and designed advanced allocation rule frameworks built to flex as business needs evolved, rather than being re-litigated from scratch each time.
  • Built simulations to model, test, and iterate on rule variations before anyone had to commit to them live, turning a political argument into a data conversation.
  • Used those simulations to drive alignment and buy-in across General Managers with competing operational and financial objectives.
  • Translated simulation-validated business logic into precise technical requirements for engineering squads, so what got built matched what had been agreed to.
  • Directed migration of a complex, fragmented series of legacy data pipelines into a single, unified Global Lead Allocation system, with zero disruption to live traffic during the transition.
  • Partnered directly with legal counsel to evaluate the viability of allocation-model changes against Realtor.com's contractual and regulatory obligations.
